Billy Carpenter, Principal, vin de garde cellar systems inc is a young entrepreneur with a passion for collectible wine and modern design.
Billy's area of expertise and approach to design is truly unique to the wine cellar industry. He focuses on creating simple and efficient wine storage solutions while providing an ideal environment for wine to age long term.
His designs are far from ordinary - by using fundamentals in industrial design, engineering and architecture and his education in fine wine, design and wood sciences, he has successfully developed a number of ingenious wine storage designs.
Billy shares his experience in wine cellar construction within the design community. He has led numerous seminars focusing on "How To" Specify and Design custom wine cellars — to over 100 interior design and architecture firms as well as professional speaking engagements at the IDS Show West in Vancouver, BC and Cornucopia in Whistler, BC.
He has installed hundreds of unique projects around the world and traveled far and wide for inspiration.
Billy shares his passion for life with his wife Laura, and daughter Lola and lives in Vancouver, Canada.
